Receivables Review
Start with a Receivables Review.
A Receivables Review is a short initial conversation about how invoicing and credit control work in your business, where payments tend to stall and the level of support your receivables operation may need.
It helps us understand your current position and tell you plainly if Dutycrest is a suitable fit — and, if it is, which service best matches your requirements.
No ledger. No customer names. Nothing account-level to get started.
Request a Receivables ReviewWhat we discuss
The Review focuses on how your receivables operation works today rather than examining individual customer accounts.
We'll discuss areas such as:
- Your receivables position
- The approximate number of customers you invoice, your invoice volumes and the general scale of your outstanding receivables.
- Your current process
- Who currently manages invoice follow-up, how consistently it happens and where internal capacity may be limited.
- What is delaying payment
- We'll understand the types of issues that commonly delay payment — such as documentation blockers, invoice queries, internal approval delays, missed payment promises, disputes, payment plans or actions required from your team.
- The workload involved
- Some receivables need routine follow-up. Others require individual investigation, coordination or repeated action before they can move towards payment.
- Customer relationships
- We'll understand any important commercial relationships or sensitivities that may affect how customer contact should be handled.
What you don’t need to provide
The initial Review is designed to begin without unnecessary customer or invoice-level information.
You don't need to provide:
- your debtor ledger
- customer names
- individual invoice details
- copies of invoices
- customer correspondence
- supporting account documents
At this stage, approximate business-level information is enough.
If you proceed with Dutycrest, the information required for onboarding and live service delivery will be dealt with separately.
How the Review works
Understand your operation
We discuss your receivables operation, current credit-control process and the issues that tend to require attention.
Consider service fit
We consider the four factors used to determine the appropriate Dutycrest service:
Active customer accounts · Monthly invoice volume · Concurrent active resolution cases · Case complexity and intensity
A clear suitability decision
If Dutycrest isn't suitable for your requirements, we'll tell you.
If it is suitable, we'll explain which of our Essential, Managed or Control services best fits your receivables operation and why.
Agree the next step
Completing a Receivables Review does not mean Dutycrest has begun managing your receivables.
If you decide to proceed, we move into the appropriate onboarding process before service begins.
Receivables are subject to acceptance.
A Receivables Review helps establish if Dutycrest and one of our services are a suitable fit for your business.
Before service begins, we also confirm that the receivables you want us to manage fall within the types of receivables Dutycrest accepts.
